Clinical Trial Administrator (CTA) is a trained professional who helps to facilitate a clinical trial. As a CTA you will primarily manage the administrative aspects of clinical trials for every stage of the process.
This fundamental “how to” and “why” course, focuses on introducing the participant to the clinical processes, to facilitate successful entry into the clinical trial industry. Participants will learn about the role and responsibilities of the Clinical Trial Administrator, in context of the regulations and rules that govern clinical trials.
Activities such as case scenarios and simulation exercises will be adopted. A look at the life cycle of a marketed product will be discussed. Sample trial master files and study documents will be reviewed and constructed to reinforce the learning concepts.

The face to face course is conducted over 3 full consecutive days, approx. 8 hours each day.
The online course is conducted over 4 weeks, at 3 hours per day twice a week.

If you are new to clinical research or an administrator who has just started working in clinical trials (entry level CTAs) this module is specifically designed for you.
Alternatively, you may be a graduate who has just left university wishing to pursue a career in clinical trials. This is a good starter course that will equip you with the insight into the clinical trial process, terminology and can show you how to enter the clinical trial industry.
No prior knowledge is required to take the course. Participants should look at the skills required to be a CTA to see whether this matches their skills set.
